[Video] Sleeper Agent: "Waves"
Along with the announcement of their highly anticipated second album About Last Night, Sleeper Agent released a lyric video for their first single off the record, "Waves." The single radiates a feel-good vibe, hooking you with it's catchy melody and chorus provided by lead singer Alex Kandel. In the video, lyrics are scrawled across arms, legs, feet, hands, and pretty much wherever else you could fit a word or two.
The album came to life while Sleeper Agent was on tour, pieced together by guitarist and principle songwriter Tony Smith. The tracks were completed while the band took refuge in a log cabin in the middle of nowhere East Kentucky, and then recorded in Nashville and Charleston with producers Jay Joyce and Eric Bass. "It's a record that I can hear our band's history in... every heartbreak, every victory, every night in the van, every audience we've been in front of are woven into the melodies and fabric of the songs" says singer Alex Kandel. About Last Night will be released on March 25th via RCA Records/Mom & Pop and is available for pre-order here.

[Video] Best Coast: "This Lonely Morning"
Sunny Indie-rock pop duo Best Coast, revealed the lyric video they made with comedy video website, Funny Or Die, for "This Lonely Morning," a song off of their latest album Fade Away. The video shows bandmates Bethany Cosentino and Bobb Bruno dueling it out on the tennis court, with lyrics written in sharpie on tennis balls and sweet air tennis racket guitar solos.
Fade Away received high praise from critics and fans, said to be their best work to date, and was named one of Rolling Stone's top albums of 2o13. Best Coast is in the studio working on their next record with producer Butch Walker, and will be showing off some new tunes while on tour with The Pixies in February.

[RH Interview] Elsinore
With raw talent and tons of heart, Elsinore is in full-force, hitting all you indie-pop/rock lovers with, (in my opinion), one of the best albums of the year. PUSH/PULL was released earlier this month in all of its glory via Parasol Records, followed by a spectacular album release show at Subterranean in Chicago, where I had the pleasure of chatting with Elsinore. Founding members Ryan Groff (guitar, lead vocals) and Mark Woolwine (keys, vocals), gave me all the sweet details on the making of their new album, the new band lineup, and more.
Of Montreal Announces Fall US Tour
Proceeding the news of the upcoming release of their album, "Lousy With Sylvianbriar," Of Montreal announced the dates for their US tour this fall. They will be starting off the tour in their home town of Athens, GA and traveling the country for about a month, hitting most major cities and hot spots.
It is impossible to encapsulate the awesomeness of Of Montreal in words, their sound is ever-changing and is a fanciful melting pot of musical styles, making it near impossible for you not to like at least one of their albums. "Lousy With Sylvianbriar," takes you back to some of the group's early recordings, bringing out a vintage 70s vibe that Of Montreal does so well. Lead singer/songwriter/front man Kevin Barnes wanted to take a more native approach to recording this album and with the help of engineer Drew Vandenberg (Deerhunter, Toro Y Moi) did just that, recording "Lousy With Sylvianbriar" in Barnes's basement on a 24-track tape machine.
The album will be released on October 8th via Polyvinyl Records on CD/LP/cassette/digital.
