"No End" In Sight For WebsterX's Restless Summer

WebsterX released the second installment of his Restless Summer today with "No End". The track is breathy and melodic, starting out sounding like something Man On The Moon era Kid Cudi would have made. It fits the overall idea of the restless summer, you can imagine yourself lying in bed on a hot night listening to this song. The melancholic beat is contradicted with an optimistic and at times braggadocios lyrics but overall that contradiction feels genuine. It's like being depressed in the summer but still energetic.

"No End" follows up the first release of the Restless Summer two weeks ago, "Feels". You can expect a release every other week for the rest of the summer.

Title Error on Kids See Ghosts

Without pushing back the date, Kid Cudi and Kanye West released Kids See Ghosts today. The 7 song project contains features from Pusha T, Ty Dolla Sign, and others. The outro also contains a Kurt Cobain guitar sample.

The incorrect titles seen on streaming services might be an error when uploading the album. No report has dropped yet explaining why this is.

Overall, the project felt well prepared, even with the rushed debut date. The production on tracks such as "4th Dimension" and "Reborn" stand out with their lo-fi distorted percussion. This sound reminisces on the iconic Kayne West sound first brought forth on 808's and Heartbreak.

On "Cudi Montage" the second verse describes the corruption of a person due to their niece being shot. This leads to them creating their own justice, which results in their arrest, only causing more pain that family. This might be one of the best verses where Kanye is telling a non personal story.

[Album] Kid Cudi: "Satellite Flight: The Journey to Mother Moon"

Kid Cudi did his best Beyonce impression last night, releasing his latest project, Satellite Flight: The Journey to Mother Moon late last night unexpectedly by posting a message on his Twitter (tweets below). The project is the latest from Cudi since last April's Indicud, his first release since parting ways with Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Music imprint. The project, available now on iTunes, is a continuation of a new path for Cudi, whose WZRD album established a decidedly more ambiguous, experimental motif to the work he had done to that point. "In My Dreams", the hit off his 2009 breakout project Man On The Moon: The End of Day get s re-do on the latest project, which is a wavy feel throughout that has Cudi doing what Cudi does best: looking inward at both himself and the listener to create a sort of ethereal experience through which he is able to not only get across a message but exemplify a feeling and though as well. Check out he latest from Cudi here.

Kid Cudi fans rejoice! The Cleveland-native recently performed in Dallas as part of his CudLife Tour and announced some pretty cool news to his legions of supporters by letting them know that a new EP should be coming out in the following months and it will serve as a prelude to his forthcoming LP, Man On The Moon 3. That means that we'll be hearing a lot more from Cudi and his cohorts King Chip and Dot Da Genius (who are slated to appear in the mini-project) as we gear towards embracing the third part of his MOTM series. Kid Cudi: "Going To The Ceremony"

New Kid Cudi on a Monday night will definitely turn the day around. "Going To The Ceremony" taps into Cudder's rock side with production by his WZRD production side project and a vibrant guitar playing in the background. Not the best track by Cudi, but it's definitely not bad and worthy of a few plays.
