Freddie Gibbs You Only Live 2wice concert at the Metro Chicago
Indiana rapper Freddie Gibbs had his share of ups and downs throughout his life, yet he shakes it off like it's nothing. When Gibbs took the stage the crowd went absolutely crazy. Welcoming him home with a lot of love is what fueled Gangsta Gibbs. He seemed to be in good spirits during his show at the Metro Thursday night and clearly enjoying being back in the rap game. Gibbs performed cuts from his latest album, You Only Live 2wice, including "20 Karat Jesus." He also blazed through hits from his previous records ESGN and Shadow of a Doubt. Relive the night with our photo gallery below.

Raekwon and Ghostface Killah's powerhouse show at The Metro
This past weekend nostalgic fans flawed to Chicago’s Metro to embrace the 90’s feel of Wu-Tang Clan’s Ghostface Killah and Raekwon.
Although it’s been almost twenty-three years since the release of the Wu-Tang Clan’s debut album, Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers). This classic piece of hip-hop history was alive and well as two of the ten-man group didn’t disappoint.
The night was filled with classics from the two hip-hop heavyweights as the crowd varied. The throwback filled night also saw a few newcomers take to the stage. Supporting the night had appearances from G-Ball, Iron Rose, Freefam, Torrio Jetsen and Spirit. With DJ Que Eleven opening for Ghostface Killah and Raekwon.
A true jump back into time, in a simpler time in hip-hop, Ghostface Killah and Raekwon showcased some classics. Classics that made you forget the almost pushing fifty artists had no problem bringing the same fierce power that comes from the Staten Island rappers.
In the news most recently for the run-ins with who many described as “the most hated man in America”, Martin Shkreli. The millionaire pharmaceutical executive, who purchased the exclusive never heard before Wu-Tang Clan album for $2 million. Despite all that, it’s great to see Ghostface Killah back on the road making headlines again.
Let’s relive some moments from the Ghostface Killah and Rawkwon show at the Metro below with our photo slideshow.

Desaparecidos 2013 Fall U.S. Tour
Desaparecidos fans have been aching for more since the group's first full-length, politically charged album "Read Music/Speak Spanish" appeared on the scene in 2002. Good news came for fans last year when the group -- a pet project of Bright Eyes' Conor Oberst -- got back together and released three 7 inches, most recently with "Te Amo Camila Vallejo," and "The Underground Man." The new tracks stay true to the bands' cut throat anti-consumerism/anti-government views, dismissing social expectations and delivering a raw, hardcore, against-the-grain punk hard rock sound. Â I can't even count the number of times I have wished and hoped for the band to get back together and play a show in Chicago, though I kept myself thoroughly satisfied with frontman (and lyrical genius) Conor Oberst's work with Bright Eyes and Monsters of Folk. And now the dream has become a reality. Desaparecidos is back, and their fall U.S. tour will hit up the metro in Chicago on Oct. 25th, bringing along supporting act The So So Glos.
