[Video] Childish Gambino: "I'd Die Without You" Live on BBC 1Xtra
Since dropping his latest album, Because The Internet, Childish Gambino has been everywhere, on seemingly every late night and morning talk show as he helps push the project. The other day, he stopped by BBC 1Xtra to do a live rendition of P.M. Dawn's song, "I'd Die Without You", giving it his own flair in the process, showing off his non-rap vocals for a change of pace. Check out the full video of the performance, streaming below.

[Video] Z Money: "Ignorant"
Chicago's West Side produced one of the city's quickest-rising stars last summer when local artist Z Money dropped a pair of mixtapes, Rich B4 Rap and Heroin Musik that took the underground hip-hop scene by storm and placed the 20-year-old restauranteur firmly in line as the next thing to blow from the Windy City. Currently preparing to up the ante on his dual release, Z Money is currently hard at work in the studio preparing to release a trio of projects simultaneously, while also getting ready to travel south to Austin for SXSW. As part of all that preparation, the relative newcomer dropped the APJ Films-directed video for his track, "Ignorant" which features Z rocking a Michael Jackson-esque red leather jacket. While not the most visually-striking video to release lately, Z Money certainly knows how to stay in the news cycle. Check out the latest, streaming below.

[Songs of the Day] 2/5/14 (Feat. St. Vincent, Zedd, Kelela & More)
Maybe it was the heavy snow across the Midwest, but there was a big surge of quality jams hitting the 'net today, and we have them all wrapped up together as part of today's "Songs of the Day". We got the preview of a couple albums, as Chicago band Empires teased their upcoming LP, Orphan, with "How Good Does It Feel", evoking a sort of post-alternative/punk feel while Detroit's Black Milk dropped "Cold Day", itself a preview of his upcoming project, Glitches In The Break EP. The ever-talented Kelela proved she will continue to be someone to pay attention to in 2014 with her single drop of the song "The High" while remnants of both Ratatat and White Flight got together in Peru for the ever-entrancing track "Two Colors" by the duo, performing under the moniker Abuela. IAMSU! continued to keep listeners at bay for his upcoming project with his latest single, "Yesterday" and St. Vincent followed up her creepy, still video for "Digital Witness" with her latest single, "Prince Johnny". Grammy-nominated DJ Zedd got a remix of his track "Clarity" from ASPDR+ while DJ OHSO xo put together a mix of Schoolboy Q to act as a sort of unofficial prelude to his upcoming Oxymoron release.
We also saw a healthy dose of music come out of the center of the map in Chicago today, with one of my favorite young rhymesayers in Muddagoose, who showed her handle of the spoken word "Little Darling" with John Walt while Closed Sessions dropped a collaboration from Alex Wiley and Mick Jenkins in their track, "Forever".

[Video] Tree: "Like Whoa"
Chicago's own MC Tree has been busy as hell lately. The creator of the sub-genre known as "Soul Trap" teamed up with Scion last month to drop the seven song @MCTREEG EP, yesterday dropped, "More Than You Know" a gem that he'd been sitting on for a minute via Closed Sessions and today, the raspy-voiced producer/rapper returns with a fresh visual for his track, "Like Whoa" off the @MCTREEG EP. The video is shot in Tree's hometown and follows him as he crisscrosses the city in the dark days of winter as he continues a smart relationship with Scion AV. Check out the full video for "Like Whoa" below.

Disclosure has been on a tear as of late. Having just stepped off tour earlier this week from a monster world journey of shows across the globe that saw them appear on almost every late night show stage there is and raise their profile ten-fold across the board. The first event will take place on April 18 in Berkeley, Ca., at the Greek Theatre and will feature the likes of Kaytranda, Claude Von Stroke and Bishop Nehru. BTS Photos of Chance The Rapper's Social Experiment Tour
If you haven't heard by now, Chance The Rapper had a pretty good year last year. The Chicago kid dropped Acid Rap in May and went on to essentially take the music scene by storm. After getting practice opening for Childish Gambino and Mac Miller on their tours, Chance decided to end 2013 right, by piling as many fellow artists and friends as he could fit into a pair of buses and traveling the country for two and a half months, selling out nearly every show along the way. One of those on the bus was talented photographer Allen Daniels whose Polaroid shots were used as a background for Chance's Riviera shows. He was a fly on the wall for the extent of the Social Experiment Tour and yesterday the tour documented through his lens hit the Internet on Chanceraps.com. Check out the shots of Pat The Manager, Peter CottonTale, Donnie Trumpet, Greg Landfair, Nate Fox and the gang in the gallery below.

[Album] St. Millie: "Road To Glory"
Chicago native St. Millie has been slowly growing his name and brand within the burgeoning scene around him for some time now, releasing a host of projects that have endeared him to a local college and young adult market while establishing himself. Today, we get the latest from St. Millie in the eleven track project, Road To Glory, mixed by Elton Chueng at Classick Studios. The project is a mark of growth for the 22-year-old Columbia College student who can more often than not be found hanging around Jugrnaut in the city's South Loop. The project is a hometown affair with production coming from fellow Treated Crew member Nasim Williams, fellow Columbia student Thelonious Martin, THEMpeople and Von Vuai, among others. Overall, it's a cohesive, flowing project that laments on critical issues while keeping the tension at ease with well-placed tracks. St. Millie literally had his face plastered all over the city as wheat pastings of his face with a crown were pinned to walls across the city. With Road To Glory he's hoping to move beyond those walls. Check out the full stream/download below.
[Video] Neko Case Performs on Conan
Neko Case graduated to a new level of notoriety last year on the strength of her mouthful of an album, The Worse Things Get, The Harder I Fight, The Harder I Fight, The More I Love You. The project found itself surrounded by the likes of Kanye West and Arcade Fire atop many of 2013's picks for top albums of the year and that has vaulted her onto the national stage. One of those stages is Conan's late night spot on TBS, which Case stopped by to perform her song, "Ragtime" with Calexico. It's a refreshing performance to start your day off properly, watch the full set below.
