Earl Sweatshirt Announces "Wearled Tour"

Earl Sweatshirt, who rose from a expedited, mysterious lyricist to one of the leaders of the next generation of hip-hop artists on the strength of his recent relesae, Doris, today announced his first headlining tour. The "Wearled Tour" kicks off in Fort Collins and Denver next week before taking off for dates in Australia, for Laneway Festival, and New Zealand. The 19-year-old Odd Future affiliate is currently in the process of working on his follow-up to Doris, before spending the Spring skipping around the world. The growth in hip-hop is real, as can be seen from Earl and his peer and tourmate last summer on Mac Miller's Space Migration Tour, Chance The Rapper. #100Trill: "Forever" (Feat. ShowYouSuck)

Fellow Chicagoans and Legion of Dudes members Grade Aplus and producer Mike Jaxx stay consistent with new material seemingly every week and today bring us the latest from their #100Trill collaboration, this time featuring another LOD artist, ShowYouSuck to spit a few bars over the Jaxx-production. "Forever" is the follow-up single to last month's "Sharkeisha" off the #100Trill's upcoming mixtape, Muzik to Check Yo Bitch To EP, due out in February. "Forever" navigates familiar territory for both Grade and Show, who traverse the recognizable pseudo-trap beat with clever wordplay and a catchy hook, "Forever I'm Ever Mackin'". With everyone in the Midwest trapped inside as Antarctica moves north for a couple days, expect plenty more heat to come out of the ever-working #100Trill duo. Listen to "Forever" streaming here below.

[Video] Bmac: "Till I OD"

Bmac is a rapper from Chicago's Uptown neighborhood on the city's North side. Currently working on his upcoming debut project, Hate On This  hosted by DJ Sean Mac, Bmac dropped the first single, complete with video accompaniment in promotion for his project, which drops on New Year's Eve. For it's part, "Till I OD" has a fairly straightforward aesthetic: doing as many drugs as possible without overdosing, or maybe just until it happens. Either way, Bmac takes us into his day to day with a video detailing him and friends smoking, drinking and ruminating over what it all might mean if they take too much down.

[Album] J Dilla: "Dillatroit"

J Dilla is one of the most revered and influential artists to ever touch the hip-hop world. Taken too early, at the age of 32, the Detroit producer music has lived on in a multitude of ways. Inspiring everyone from Flying Lotus to Mac Miller, it is almost blasphemy to not list him as one of your influences as a producer today. Dilla even has his own day dedicated to him (Dilla Day).

There have been rumblings about mountains of unreleased Dilla material for awhile now, and today Dilla's mother and J Dilla Foundation head Ma Dukes announced the digital release and stream of the vinyl-only release of Dillatroit, a compilation of choice cuts from the producer's glory days that never seemed to find the light of day, with cuts from The Lost Scrolls and Rebirth Of Detroit. Start your week off right and stream this golden thread of audio below. You can also buy the full project here, with proceeds going to the J Dilla Foundation, which is fighting to improve music education programs across the country.

[Video] Taylor Bennett: "Heartbreaker"

Chicago's own Taylor Bennett has been gaining steam since dropping his mixtape, The Taylor Bennett Show this summer, and tonight dropped the video for his single, "Heartbreaker" off his upcoming 2014 project, Mainstream Music. The video, shot by 16-year-old Thelonious Stokes and premiered by IllRoots, is interesting, with Taylor musing over the intricacies of relationship issues, playing between a melodic hook and mixed bag of rhyme schemes throughout the track. The video is a small preview of what fans can expect from the 17-year-old's upcoming, sold out show at Reggie's Rock House in Chicago on December 20. Check out the video below, and keep it locked to RH for more on Taylor Bennett.

[RH First Glance] Kris Kasanova: "Tomorrow" (Feat. SZA)

Kris Kasanova has been building a steady buzz for himself in the New York market for a minute now. Since popping up on Peter Rosenberg's New York Renaissance mixtape released earlier this year and featuring a full scope of NYC acts such as, World's Fair, A$AP Rocky and Ferg, Action Bronson and Flatbush Zombies, among others. Kasanova has edged his way into the limelight in one of the most competitive markets in the world and today teamed up with TDE-signee SZA for "Tomorrow", which got a video treatment the other day. Currently, Kasanova is hard at work in the studio, preparing his next project with producers like Justin Rose. Across the country we're seeing hip-hop branch into many different angles, proof the "Renaissance" isn't just confined to one market or another. Definitely keep an eye out for Kris Kasanova, who should be releasing new content throughout early 2014.

[Video] Lucki Eck$: "Count On Me"

Chicago's own Lucki Eck$ made waves earlier this year with the release of his breakthrough debut project, Alternative Trap. The ambient trap-influenced airiness of the mixtape's overall aesthetic and beats matched Lucki's unique, off-beat, shadowy tone in his rhymes which acted as yet another interesting take on the genre from a Chicago artist. The tape has brought considerable attention to the somewhat mysterious artist, enough that his next project will be one of the most anticipated releases in awhile.

Today, we get the video for Lucki's track "Count On Me", produced by hytman and directed by JKrown, the visual details Lucki and co. wandering and bopping their way down the streets of Wicker Park. Surreal is a word often used to describe the young artist on the rise, a word that aptly describes the accompanying visual element to the track. Check out "Count On Me" below.

Sampha: "Can’t Get Loose" (Jacques Greene Remix)

Ever since Drake put talented artist Sampha on "Too Much" off his latest album, Nothing Was The Same, it seems that the track is all people have heard from one half of SBTRKT. Well, Jacques Greene went beyond just hearing the one track and remixing it, giving Sampha's solo track, "Can't Get Loose", off his Dual EP, his own special treatment. Sampha has one of those voices you can listen to all day, and Greene deftly adds his unique up-tempo dance vibes that up the ante for the song while not overshadowing the original aesthetic of the track. Check out the track, available courtesy of Audiomack here below.
