Photographer Adrian Skenderovic has traveled the world for his latest photography series capturing basketball hoops from his travels. This series really takes me back to my childhood and gives me a feeling of nostalgia because I remember the days of making makeshift hoops. As you can see from the photos some of the hoops are in good shape and some are barely standing but they both serve the same purpose. By looking at the photos you can just imagine the great times people have had shooting hoops with just the bare essentials. For more visit Adrian's website here.

[Video] Alex Wiley: "K-Swiss"
Alex Wiley's Club Wiley has solidified it's place as one of the year's best releases with its Summer anthems ("Earfucked", "K-Swiss", "The Woods" & "Creepin'" all come to mind) and great replay value throughout. Today, Wiley gives the project an extra push with a new video for the fan-favorite "K-Swiss", directed by Visual Mecca Ent.. You should already know before watching the video that it is as fun and goofy as the song itself, which samples a classic basement party track and was recorded half-jokingly by Wiley and Co. Without giving too much away, expect an epic footwork battle, hilarious user-submitted videos and, of course, a pair of K-Swiss.

It seems like everybody is on their phone scrolling through photos deciding which ones to post on Instagram. It’s so easy to do, whether you’re a photographer or not; just point, shoot, choose a filter, then post whatever you created. From the funny duck face selfies to breathtaking landscapes to gritty city streets, some use it as visual journal giving glimpses of their lives. Others have taken it to another level creating works of art. All of us at Ruby Hornet are fans of the social media platform and decided to do a weekly series of highlighting people whose Instagrams we feel are cool. This week’s featured Instagram comes from mikeescamilla. His bio says it all: he's a BMX biker, skydiver, and adventurist. The World Of Abandoned Asylums
Many institutions dedicated to helping people with various mental health disorders sometimes were far from a place where people got help. Unfortunately, many asylums where just a place where people were discarded and were not treated for their supposed symptoms or disorders. Many people in these asylums were mistreated and subjected to terrible living standards that no human being should have to live through. Due to unethical practices and building conditions, many of these asylums were left to rot. The photos below are of such asylums that were abandoned, and by the looks of them, are what horror stories are made of. For more photos and stories about these abandoned asylums visit io9 here.

[Photography] David Choe & Estevan Oriol Afghanistan Trip For JUXTAPOZ
David Choe's recent trip to Afghanistan was captured by photographer Estevan Oriol for the latest issue of Juxtapoz magazine. The graffiti artist had his entire trip documented, and this series of photos were the ones that weren't able to make the print issue. The photos that Estevan took show Choe in a variety of settings, and is seen creating art, interacting with locals, and visiting parts of Afghanistan that have been affected by war. Oriol captured some very interesting images and gave us a small glimpse of Afghanistan. If these weren't able to make the cut, I am interested to see the photos that did make the issue.

Irina Shayk For GQ Russia
Sports Illustrated model Irina Shayk graces the cover of the August issue of GQ Russia. For this shoot, Irina ditches the bikinis and white sandy beaches to gives us a more grungy look. Photographer David Roemer took some great shots of Irina and really captured a side of her we don't normally see. Styled in nothing but all black outfits and a lot of leather, the shoot looks like scenes straight out of Death Race. If you're not located in Russia at this time, you can see the photo spread below.

Rappers & Cereal
We've all become accustomed to artists putting their name on a number of products and really showing us their entrepreneurial spirit, from the clothing brands to alcohol, headphones, restaurants and even clubs. Many do anything to make a dollar, and for whats it's worth, I respect that artists venture into the world of business. But like any business, some succeed and well... some are destined to fail. Now think of all the products that we've seen rappers put their name behind, then imagine if your favorite rappers branched off into the world of cereal. The minds over at Rappers & Cereal made it a reality by creating some awesome images with our favorite rappers on the boxes of some of our favorite cereals.
