[Mixtape] PIVOT Gang: "Jimmy"

In addition to their respective solo work, the guys holding it down for PIVOT Gang have been working on a compilation 'tape for almost two years.  Today, Saba, John Walt, MfnMelom, Joseph Chilliams, Frsh Waters, Sway $wala and Kevo B are finally ready to share their latest opus and just released Jimmy. Containing a whooping 20 songs, Jimmy gives all members in the group a proper platform to showcase their talent and unique abilities, while complementing each other with a palatable synergy only they can muster up.

You can stream Jimmy below and download the mixtape here.

Smoko Ono: "Pass The Flame" (Feat. Jarred AG, Saba & Sterling Haze)

Chicago's own Smoko Ono offered up this single, "Pass The Flame" off his upcoming Smoko and Friends project due out later this year. Smoko has been putting in his time around the city and "Pass The Flame" is a dope glimpse into what he's been cooking up. For now, check out the single, featuring some fellow Chicago cats that do their thing, per usual.

"Boy don't drink your life away/Make them bloggers type away."

Martin $ky: "Rapture" SNIPPET (prod. by Saba)

Martin $ky gives us a new verse alongside a snippet of a collaborative track he did with Saba (for whom we posted his excellent new video yesterday) for his upcoming time(LESS) 'tape. Shouts to the homie for sending this heat to my e-mail, I keep replaying the stream over and over, can't wait to hear the whole thing!

[Video] Saba: "Gurlfran"

Saba is probably your favorite rapper's rapper and with his witty rhymes ("My girlfriend say she sell-a-bit...of drugs) little is left to wonder as to why. The up-and-coming emcee has shown great leaps of progression with every single release he puts out and his follow-up 'tape to GetCOMFORTable should be nothing less than incredible. A quick look at his new set of visuals for "Gurlfran" below will show how more confident his flow sounds and he certainly isn't afraid to get a little trippy!

Naledge: "Love Not Personal" (feat. Saba and Vic Spencer)

The latest song from Naledge, "Love Not Personal," just dropped. Featuring Saba and Vic Spencer, a smooth saxophone carries the beat across each rappers' verses as they rap about not trusting the ladies. The hook preaches some knowledge: "Don't trust these pros, they just gonna go and take off their clothes/Their loving ain't personal. They blow you kisses, then they go out to clubs with your bros/Their loving ain't personal."

Check out the song below.
