[Video] ShowYouSuck: "Big Gulp"

They may not appreciate Big Gulps in New York, but here in Chicago the oversized frosty drinks get major play. No one knows this more than the one and only ShowYouSuck who today released the visual for his video "Big Gulp". It's "an ode to large drinks and smart women" because it's just not covered enough in rap music these days. The video is done by George Sol and fits with an overall aesthetic of radness that Show fully embodies. Speaking of radness, ShowYouSuck is currently working on his next project, Rad, due out in 2014 with a preview, The EP Before Rad to drop before then. He'll be playing a couple dates in Kentucky and Iowa soon, check the links under the video below.

[Video] Pyyramids, Neak, ShowYouSuck live at Township

Pyyramids came to Township in Chicago last Thursday and had some surprise guests up their sleeve, commissioning local artists ShowYouSuck and Neak as supporting acts. The newly-remodeled venue was bumping and luckily Windy City videographer APJ Films was on hand to catch all the action. Check the video out below.

[Video] Ultrademon: "Automatic" (Feat. ShowYouSuck)

ShowYouSuck teamed up with experimental artist Ultrademon for a different track, appropriately paired with a video that is just as off the rails. The rough aesthetic has been popping up a lot in videos lately and ShowYouSuck's gravelly voice comes in great on this eery beat. Check out the video below.

[Video] Red Bull Sound Select Sounds of the City: ShowYouSuck

Red Bull took Chicago hip hop artist ShowYouSuck to one of his favorite venues, Reggie's Rock House in the South Loop, his backyard and Code of Conduct tattoo parlor in his hometown as part of their "Sounds of the City" series. "At Reggie's Rock Club I reached greatness," says Show in the intro, "it's the location for a lot of benchmarks in my career: first sold out show and it has the best buffalo chicken sandwich I've ever had in my life, hands down." Red Bull takes ShowYouSuck back to hang out, eat a chicken sandwich and shoot a video for his song, "Big Gulp" off One Man Pizza Party 3: Rest In Pizza. The video comes on the heels of his visual release for "Girls, Nachos" last week and is another good look for the Treated Crew/LOD member.

[Video] ShowYouSuck: "Girls, Nachos"

The fan-favorite “Girls, Nachos” from ShowYouSuck’s Stefan Ponce exclusively produced EP, Girls, Girls, Girls, has finally been given the MTV music video treatment. Directed by Aaron Perkins, Jr, the “Girls, Nachos” video is a highly-surreal take on channel surfing from a questionably-90s perspective. With partial inspiration from Soundgarden’s “Black Hole Sun” video, the visuals for “Girls, Nachos” carries a bit of a Requiem for a Dream tone to it mixed with the Sick, Sad World show from Daria.

Grab a slurpee, pour some processed cheese sauce over some rounded corn thins, and veg out to the highly-entertaining “Girls, Nachos” video below.

[Mixtape] ShowYouSuck: "One Man Pizza Party 4: Slice After Death"

The pizza has run out. The Slurpee machine has been tapped. Finally, the pizza party is over. The One Man Pizza Party series introduced us to ShowYouSuck and his pop-culture filled universe full of Shoryukens, based girls, the importance of friendship, and yes... pizza. However, all things must come to an end, with One Man Pizza Party 4: Slice After Death serving to be the perfect coda to ShowYouSuck's introduction to the rap game.

OMPP4 is mostly a collection of remixes spanning Show's career thus far, from the OMPP classic "Clam Chowder Soup" (remixed spectacularly by theWHOevers' J Arthur), to MikeJaxx's remix of OMPP3's "Carne Asada." Also included is the fan-favorite "Girls, Nachos" from Show's Girls, Girls, Girls EP with Stefan Ponce, as well as new songs "Flip Phone," "SSF4 Championship Edition," "XXX Straight Edge," and the titular "Slice After Death."

It's a bittersweet end of an era, but ShowYouSuck will rise from the pizza crust crumbs as his first, post-One Man Pizza Party album should represent a new chapter in his illustrious career.

ShowYouSuck: "Flip Phone" (prod. by Thelonious Martin)

Remember when flip phones weren't just burners or trap phones, but the peak of cellular technology? Times have definitely changed, but producer extraordinaire Thelonious Martin keeps it retro with ShowYouSuck's latest, "Flip Phone." Previewed live at a few shows, the One Man Pizza Party 4: Slice After Death track tells the story of a special lady that became not-so-special after she moved to New York.

Also announced with the "Flip Phone" drop is the news that ShowYouSuck's next album will be through our friends at Closed Sessions. Congratulations to both ShowYouSuck and Closed Sessions for the news! Don't forget that One Man Pizza Party 4: Slice After Death will be coming out on July 23rd (next week!) through Mishka. Don't forget to vote ShowYouSuck to play this summer's North Coast Music Festival.

(P.S. We don't think you're weaker than Dylan, Show... even if he is the greatest rapper of all time.)

The Hood Internet: "Mom Jeans 2.0" (ShowYouSuck X Them Jeans X James Pants)

Here's a throwback remix! ShowYouSuck's One Man Pizza Party 2: Mo' Slices, Mo' Problems featured the classic ode to the high-risk, all-reward fashion statement, "Mom Jeans." With the final Pizza Party set to come out next week, Slice After Death, ShowYouSuck is switching the game up a bit, having the mixtape consist of a mix of both new songs and remixes of classic songs from a large number of producers.

The first said remix to come out for the album is The Hood Internet's take on the high-waisted pantaloons, "Mom Jeans 2.0." All Denim Everything. Remember, if you ever meet a pretty young lady that can properly rock some Mom jeans, know that she's a keeper. Don't forget to vote for ShowYouSuck to play this year's North Coast Music Festival!
