Kweku Collins nonchalantly releases something new.
Out of the blue, Kweku Collins released something new last night, very much under the radar. Taking it back to his, high school days, Kweku had "Meet Halfway" running around in his head, recorded it at home, and uploaded it to soundcloud. Consider this the warm-up, as Kweku gets ready for Pitchfork and has been hinting on social media for a potential new project of some kind.

Schoolboy Q Helps Promote Launch of SoundCloud's New Visual Player
Popular online audio platform SoundCloud has released a new visual player that gives a complete makeover to the embedded player by now allowing artists' artwork to be displayed along with their music. Artists' artwork is important, and now it is front and center for everyone to see and SoundCloud also revamped its waveform to give users a better visual experience. The new player also offers a better listening experience, too, by offering continuous listening by suggesting related tracks when a song is paused or when it's finished playing.
The company has also enlisted the help of artists to promote the newly unveiled player ranging from The 1970 to Schoolboy Q. After raising $60 million of funding this could be just the beginning for SoundCloud. Check out a snippet of the new track “Gangsta” from Schoolboy Q's upcoming album and see what the new visual player is all about.

[LP] Del The Funky Homosapien: "Iller Than Most"
Del The Funky Homosapien has been making a resurgence of sorts over the past year. With his Deltron 3030 release, Event 2, and a tour that featured a 16 piece orchestra, complete with conductor, Del decided to roll things over into the new year with a spontaneous online release, Iller Than Most. Of the eleven song project, dropped at midnight yesterday, Del had this to say: "Lyrically ill but fun to listen to, nothing super heavy. I did the production on it as well." It's easy to tell he took care of the production, with a familiar funk-ified, otherworldly aesthetic that oozes Del through and through, and which is especially pronounced on the opening track when he chants "Take me to your leader!" Stream the latest from Del The Funky Homosapien below.
