RH TV: Infinite Bars Freestyle In The Park
We've featured many rappers in our Freestyle In The Park series, from Alchemist to Keith Murray, Dilated Peoples to Mikkey Halsted, but none like Infinite Bars. Chicago's best kept secret, most feared emcee, and the world record holder for the largest collection of sunglasses and beer glasses, Infinite Bars makes an extremely rare appearance in this week's Freestyle In The Park. Effectively retired from rap since June 14, 1993, Bars announced his return, dropped this freestyle, then effectively retired yet again. See his first and last appearance below.

Closed Session W/ Curren$y: "Rapper Weed"
Closed Session is the newest addition to the RubyHornet content machine. The premise is simple, we teamed up with SoundScape studios, Chicago's premier recording studio and provide artists with beats from Chicago's top producers, give them an atmosphere tailored to their needs, get out of their way, and let them create. What we are left with is footage of the artist recording on their terms, as well as dope new music.
RH First Listen: "Rapper Weed"
After rocking the stage at our Dimes and Dozens party (co-presented by dubFrequency) Curren$y went into SoundScape Studios with us for a closed session. We turned the lights down, played some beats, rolled a little something up, and let the creativity fly. Rocking over original production courtesy of Tony Baines, Curren$y created "Rapper Weed", a mellow joint about, well, mellow joints. Download it free below, and tell a friend to tell a friend. Also look for more RH x SoundScape releases in the future, and video from Dimes and Dozens coming later today.
