For all of the controversy surrounding Blue is the Warmest Color, I’m surprised more hasn’t been said about Lars von Trier’s next film, Nymphomaniac. There have been a few clips and snippets of the film released, including June’s first teaser from the film’s first chapter, “The Compleat Angler.” However, this latest clip from the film’s fifth chapter, “The Little Organ School,” shows just how sexual Nymphomaniac is.
The triple-cut clip features Young Joe (Stacy Martin) doing sex with three different men against a musical backdrop of an organ playing Bach. Intercut are scenes of the organist, a leopard, and a naked man animated in slow-motion. Remember: The clip is not safe for work by any means. Nymphomaniac still doesn’t have a US release set, but I imagine we won’t have to wait long into the new year to catch the film.
