As was announced last week, the new iPad Air has been released to stores today. The newer, lighter cousin to the iPad family boasts a 20% thinner, 28% lighter body, perhaps in preparation for the Thanksgiving gluttony that’ll take place in a few short weeks. While the tablet will probably sell like hotcakes, some of us are a bit more curious and skeptical about exactly what the new iPad has to offer.

Then there are those of us whose curiosity exceeds this, much more interested in seeing the inner workings of Apple’s new plaything. The team over at iFixIt have put together a teardown of the iPad Air to examine its naked body and a review of how repairable the product is when opened.
