Milo & Otis’ full-length album “The Joy“, which featured guest-appearances by Chance The Rapper & Nico Segal, was hands-down one of the best releases 2012 had to offer and also unfortunately one of the most slept-on projects this past year. The soulful Chicago duo simply makes feel-good music that’s not afraid to be introspective while at the same time show some goofiness. Today they have premiered the first official video from the “The Joy” and it’s as awesome as anything these two have put out to date. In “Tiny Soldiers”, Milo tries to cope with a romantical break-up and move on. Nevertheless, that’s easier said than done and she finds herself in a war with her own thoughts.
You might have seen Milo & Otis recently give a helluva performance at Chano’s #AcidRapLive, but in case you missed it or would just like to groove again to their unique sound, they’ll be opening for Lili K at Hard Rock Cafe on March, 1st.
