Space Jam is the greatest film ever made. If you disagree, you’re not a connoisseur of life’s finer things. With that said, there’s been a whirlwind of Space Jam news recently, from the fake 30 for 30 documentary of the film to the very false rumors of a sequel starring LeBron James. Now, a video has come out from Funny or Die that captures the essence of the film with some contemporary actors and NBA players.
Last month, a live table read of the film’s script was held in Los Angeles, and Funny or Die was present to shoot video of the event. The read was full of who’s who in comedy right now, such as The League‘s Nick Kroll and Paul Scheer, Neighbors‘ Jerrod Carmichael, Family Guy‘s Seth Green, Boy Meets World‘s Danielle Fishel, and A Million Ways to Die in the West‘s Ralph Garman. Joining them were Los Angeles Clippers players DeAndre Jordan and Blake Griffin reading for Charles Barkley and Michael Jordan, respectively.
