Kuhlamity ft. brandUn DeShay: "Kuham & DeShay"

Now this one hits close to home, literally. Kuhlamity is a rapper from my hometown of Rockland, New York and the boy has some skills. While in the past Kam has worked with some of the members of Army Of The Pharaohs and jumping on some industry beats he is now teaming up with, what should be a familiar name to you all, with brandUn DeShay for his album which is set to drop in late October or early November. Center Of A Tension is the name of that album and it will feature all production from brandUn DeShay as well as some other surprises. "Kuhlam & DeShay" is a great starting point for those who aren't familiar with Kuhlamity as he compliments brandUn DeShay perfectly and their pretty much opposite styles somehow come together in harmony. Check out Kuhlamity and DeShay work that magic right below and hit up myself, @KuhLamityCOAT or @brandunXdeshay up on twitter to let us know what you think.

Rickie Jacobs is on the prowl again and this time comes at us with a video for his track "Victory Lap." He dropped the video right before he became a father, congrats to Rickie and the song is pretty dope. Having followed Rickie's music for a long time it is great to see his flow and style changing for the better and his delivery becoming even that much more smoother. Rickie Jacobs is primed for a blow up so until then we will patiently wait for his next project. In the mean time enjoy "Victory Lap" right below.

†ahj Di?mond: "Up There"

When I first stumbled across †ahj Di?mond with his previous song, "$unny Days," I was hooked and wanting more and more from him. Today we were finally blessed with the next song from his upcoming project Jesus Give Me Peace which is dedicated to a recently deceased friend of his. "Up There" creates an airy atmosphere that is obviously intended by the song. What catches you first is the impeccable production that comes with Tahj Diamond's music. The choice of samples and the beats to go with them gives a vibe that no artist out there has right about now. He gives off an obvious similar vibe to Cudi and takes the aspects that made Cudi great and takes them to a whole different level. I haven't been this excited for an artist on the come up since the first play I gave Tyler The Creator's Bastard a few years ago. I whole heartily can feel the time, effort and passion that Tahj puts into every word and I guess that is what makes the music that much better. As if I wasn't blasting "$unny Days" enough out of my car windows wherever I went, Tahj gives me another reason to keep driving around. You should check out †ahj Di?mond immediately before it is too late. Then you can brag to all your friends that you knew Tahj before he started selling out crowds. Trust me on this one. This is good music at its finest. Download is right below.

Illecism: "Another Broke Celebrity x Perfect" (Prod. Rufio)

This couldn't be a better day for you as we don't just get one brand new track from the rhymeslayer out of Sacramento, Illecism, but we are blessed with two. Both of these tracks are produced by Rufio who if you have been following what I've been posting you should be very familiar with the man by now. "Another Broke Celebrity" tells the story that can ring true through countless up and coming artists and is definitely true to Illecism. The dude has the fire out of the oven but no one wants to become another broke celebrity and only needs those ears to discover the music. Next is an ode to all the women out there with "Perfect." Illecism and Rufio team up once again with another slick as jebus christmas beat to create this classic slappage. Between "Perfect" and "Another Broke Celebrity" it is almost impossible to choose between my favorite of the two but all it does is leave me wanting more Illecism. You can grab DL links for both tracks as well as the video for "Another Broke Celebrity" right below.

The Dean's List: "Kryptonite Sanity Room (K.S.R.)"

I've been following The Dean's List for a while and I have seen their style slowly start to change and twist from time to time and when they do they fall right into music that I can really get into. With "#K2YL" being amazing, they are back at it again with some gritty lyricism on "Kryptonite Sanity Room." By the time the song is over you have no idea that you just listened to a 6+ minute song. After hearing this I am excited to see what direction this group of guys are about to go to. Grab "Kryptonite Sanity Room" right below.

[Video] Chuuwee: "U Cartoon Foo's" Prod. Rufio

Master beat maker Rufio recently got the attention of Sacramento's own Chuuwee who jumped on track #15 on his most recent mixtape, "Rappers Jst Rap OnIt," "StrwbryChpstck". Chuuwee absolutely went off on this one but I find it hard to listen to a song with Rufio on the beat that I can't slap to the 10th degree. You can watch the video for "U Cartoon Foo's" right below as well as snag the download for Rufio's beat tape "Rappers Jst Rap OnIt."

[EP] Audio Games: "Keep My Records"

I was sent this EP a little while ago and well since my laptop is currently traveling at Kim Kardashian Ass Revolutions per minute I am finally getting around to doing stuff. While I love getting to check out producers instrumental tapes, I have to be honest there is only a certain limit that I can listen to straight instrumentals and what I am seeing more of is a half and half type thing which is exactly where Audio Games goes with his. He enlists a guy who I am very familiar with, Kidd Steve, on easily the best track on the EP with "One Way." It was hard to say that because "Guitar Strings" is smoother then Keith Sweat. The combination of Audio Games skills behind the board and Kidd Steve's behind the mic has me wanting more from these two and well it got me to listen to the EP in its entirety. With this crazy bananas weather in NY, "Keep My Records" has given me something to pass my days. Hope you dig it as much as I have been. Grab the link right below.

[Mixtape] Legit: "Coloring Outside The Lines"

Legit is a rapper out of the Chicago area that I have been familiar with for a while. He recently released his most recent project "Coloring Outside The Lines," and even with my expectations from Legit, he exceeded them. He is part of a collective of rappers that are all gaining some serious steam and putting out music after music that is catching ears and not stopping there. If I had to pick some highlights from this tape to bump to get a good feel before you download I would first check "Yachtzee" because I know after hearing that you will definitely want more. You can grab "Coloring Outside The Lines" right down below and enjoy.
