Emily Ratajkowski: The Girl Who Stole Summer via GQ
Photos by Terry Richardson
Unless you've been living under a rock, you are familiar with Emily Ratajkowski either by name or by face. The 22 year old, British born model took the world by storm in Robin Thicke's music video for his smash hit "Blurred Lines". Appearing in her birthday suite (which she does often and no one is complaining), Emily became 2013's Summer obsession. She is the type of woman who inspires great men to do great things, a modern muse. So for the many of us who have spent countless hours on the Tumblr and Instagram looking at every picture we can of her. Here s a new photo shoot and interview by Terry Richardson for GQ's 2013 November issue.

Banksy Gives Random Graffiti The Broadway Makeover
As we mentioned yesterday, English street artist Banksy is on a month-long residency in the street of New York. His "Better Out Than In" public exhibition has been going strong as different pieces have been popping up everyday since October 1st. Today, Banksy gives us random graffiti piece given a Broadway makeover (an ongoing series). The three new pieces can be seen at Delancey, Bushwick, and Williamsburg neighborhoods. Check out the new pieces below and head over to the BANKSYNY site for more witty and funny audio from his toll free # to help you through the exhibit.
Banksy Kicks Off a Month Long Residency in New York
Banksy has officially made a come back. Announced via his website, the British street artist has begun a month long residency in the streets of New York, beginning October 1st. According to his site, Banksy will attempt to host an entire show on the streets of NY, which is called "Better Out Than In." Two pieces have officially been confirmed, one on October 1st in Manhattan (The Street is in play), and the second (THIS IS MY NEW YORK ACCENT… normally i write like this) on the West Side on October 2nd. To enhance the experience, he has also created a Toll-Free number that serves as an audio guide to the exhibition. As I was writing, a possible October 3rd piece has been released via this Banksy IG account. Not 100% confirmed, as it's not posted on his website, but as the day goes on, I'm sure we will find out. In NY fashion the first piece has been painted over and the other two already have other tags on them.
Welcome To The New Ruby Hornet
I would like to welcome everyone to our new site design for RubyHornet.com. Since our first post in 2008, Ruby Hornet has grown and evolved, and today marks a new page in our history. A change in leadership led to a new direction and growth while making sure we stay true to our brand. Some of these new changes include diversifying our music content to include not just independent hip hop, but other music genres, as well as a focus on Film, Photography, Web, and Technology.
With the new direction and diversified content comes a new team of writers, photographers, videographers, and artists who are working hard to continue to bring high quality content from these industries. This is just the beginning of the new Ruby Hornet and what we have in store for our new and loyal readers.
Speaking for everybody on the new team, I want to thank friends, family, and readers who have supported us over the years and continue to do so. We are all really excited for this new direction, and I hope you guys are as well. Expect a lot more from us in the coming months.
I would also like to thank our parent company, Empresario, and the rest of my team who have been working long hours on getting the new site up and running.
Take a few minutes, explore the new site, and bare with us as we will be working out the kinks.

[RH Photos] The Space Migration Tour in Austin
Photos by: Virgil Solis
After dropping his second full length album Watching TV with the Sound Off, Mac Miller hit the road with Chicago's Chance the Rapper and kicking off his Space Migration Tour at a sold out show at Emo's in Austin, TX. Having just missed Chance's come up in Chicago, I was really looking forward to seeing his live show for the first time. Acid Rap by far is one of this year's best projects put out and a mixtape I've listened to non-stop since it dropped. Chance came out with a fury, and the audience sang along and cheered for him, returning the same energy back in the process. He performed some crowd favorites like "Pusha Man," "Juice," and some classics from his first mixtape, #10Day.
After a quick set change, Mac was ready to hit the stage. The all ages crowd was so hyped from Chance's set that they were hungry for Mac. Miller came out in a floral print fit and rocked the crowd from the get-go. You can see why both of these acts are on the road together as they have loyal fan bases that know the words to all of their music. After an hour or so, Mac was still going strong with no signs of letting up. I was at hand with Bobby Reys and shot some photos of the two which you can see below.
