[RH Photos] ShowYouSuck and Auggie the 9th Live @ Threadless X CBLDF C2E2 After-Party
This past weekend was C2E2 (Chicago Comics and Entertainment Expo) 2013, and I had the pleasure of spending my entire Saturday with some familiar Ruby Hornet figures in Auggie the 9th, ShowYouSuck, and Chandler London. Video footage from the day's shenanigans spent wandering around the show floor admiring various street art, comic books, cosplayers, and general geeky stuff is cooking and will be posted in the near future. Keep your eyes out for them!
However, after our day of being rambunctious ragamuffins at the convention, Auggie and Show performed their own individual sets at the Threadless X CBLDF C2E2 After-Party. Threadless, the Chicago-based, community-driven T-shirt company, and the CBLDF (Comic Book Legal Defense Fund), a non-profit organization that helps protect First Amendment rights for comic artists, writers, retailers, and collectors, teamed up to provide some late night fun for C2E2 attendees where Auggie had all the ladies (and possibly a few guys) twerking in some KEDS, while Show made everybody wish they still had their flip phones.

Alex Wiley packed out Reggie's last Saturday for the #ClubWiley Fan Appreciation show. Performing with a band, super soakers, and beach balls, Wiley gave the crowd an exclusive look into his new project, debuting several songs off his debut album. [RH Photos] ShowYouSuck: OMPP3 Release Party
ShowYouSuck hosted a release party for #OMPP3 on Saturday at Bottom Lounge. The night featured opening sets from Warhound and St. Millie, which were followed by an incredible performance by the man of the hour. ShowYouSuck took the stage backed by DJ Manny Muscles, producer Mike Jaxx, Auggie The 9th, and a giant slice of pepperoni pizza. The set was over an hour, featured several wardrobe changes, free pizza, appearances by L.O.D. and Treated Crew, and was one of the best shows I've been to in a while.

[RH Photos] Alex Wiley: ClubWiley Listening Party
On Saturday night, Alex Wiley hit Jugrnaut to give friends and fans a taste of his forthcoming debut project, ClubWiley. The mixtape will be released in the coming months, and is the first true solo release from Alex Wiley, who has been gaining buzz over the last year thanks to his work with Kembe X, Chance The Rapper, and his most recent solo drops. ClubWiley will be released via the Chicago indie label, Closed Sessions, and features Chance The Rapper, GLC, Raekwon, Freddie Gibbs, and more.
Those lucky and early enough to get into Jugrnaut on Saturday got a preview of ClubWiley, hearing tracks such as "Ear Fucked", "Creepin", and my favorite record, "Spaceship" featuring Chance and GLC. [RH Photos] Pitchfork Music Festival 2012 Day 3
Day 3 of Pitchfork Fest felt like the most crowded, and was definitely the most fun. The skies stayed clear all day, and acts such as Kendrick Lamar, AraabMuzik, Beach House, and others put on solid sets. Check out the pics from day 3 below by Stefan Klapko.

Day two of Pitchfork Fest 2012 featured ScHoolboy Q, Danny Brown, Flying Lotus, Lotus Plaza, The Cults, Hot Chip and more. The rains poured down but only for about 20 minutes, and lead to a very enjoyable day of music and sunshine. Check out pics from day two from Stefan Klapko.

It rained. Then it stopped raining. Then it rained again. Then stopped. In between we had the first day of Pitchfork Music Fest 2012. Day one kicked off with performances by Chicago's Outerminds and Willis Earl Beal as well as A$AP Rocky, Big K.R.I.T., Clams Casino, Feist, Japanaroids, Dirty Projectors and more.
