[Photography] Models as the Five Major Internet Browsers
We all have our go-to search engines whenever we're browsing the internet whether its FireFox, Chrome, or Safari. To me, whenever talking about internet browsers, the conversation only goes as far as which is the best for me. But for fashion photographer Viktorija Pashuta, the conversation wasn't about which was better, but which of the most popular browsers were women.
Eventually, Viktorija made her vision a reality and grabbed five models to transform them into Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera, Chrome and Safari. The results are pretty awesome, and I feel that she captured the essence and experience of what each browser brings by the way she styled and photographed each model. Take a look at the photos, and see if your favorite internet browsers is still your favorite.

[Video] Nintendo announces 2DS, a portable alternative to the 3DS
Earlier today, Nintendo announced the Nintendo 2DS, an alternative to the current 3DS. For $129, consumers can purchase what is essentially an un-foldable 3DS with all of the same tech specs minus the 3D component. Considering that the 2DS is a "handheld," its bulky size kind of doesn't help the portability factor of the system. However, Nintendo's known for milking the cash cow, and with the 3DS being the best-selling handheld on the market right now, it makes sense for them to offer an alternative to the 3DS, especially if the "3D gimmick" has been seen as nothing more than an optional component.
The Nintendo 2DS will be in stores this October across North America.

Microsoft Points have finally been phased out
It took Microsoft's entire existence in gaming, but they're finally getting with the times. The absurd, moon money system of "Microsoft Points" has been abolished, replaced by a common sense move to use direct dollar amounts for purchases on Xbox Live. Previously, the currency system utilized MS Points, which is well and good. However, MS Points didn't have a direct 1:1 exchange rate to USD. Instead, for example, 80 MS Points would be the equivalent of $1.00, creating a monopoly of Monopoly money in the gaming world.
Now, Xbox gamers can finally purchase games, DLC, etc. directly with proper dollar amounts instead of exchanging them into a fake currency. It almost took a decade, but the problem is finally being resolved. Now, all of you Scrooge McDucks who have hoarded MS Points can still keep your money bags of moon bucks for future purchases as the Xbox One is prepared for release this fall.

Rumored photos of iPhone 5S, iPhone 5C leaked
Rumored photos of iPhone 5S, iPhone 5C leaked
With rumors of a gold iPhone 5S set to release next month, more purported pictures of the new variant have come out. Mashable, via a Japanese website, shared the purported images of the new iPhone 5S models, which you can see below. Also below are purported images of the iPhone 5C, which is a lower-cost iPhone 5 model that will replace the current iPhone 5. So, just so we're clear: The current iPhone model, iPhone 5, will be replaced by the iPhone 5C in addition t0 the upgraded model, iPhone 5S. The iPhone 5C will be encased in plastic and will have some modest tech upgrades, but no concrete details have been announced.
The first group of photos are of the iPhone 5C, while the second group are of the iPhone 5S. Word has it that an official announcement will be made on or around September 10 in regards to the next iPhone models, so we only need to wait a few more weeks to find out how the future of the iPhone models will shape out.

[Photography] Polaroid Socialmatic Camera
Polaroid and ADR Design are set to release the Socialmatic Camera sometime early next year. The concept of the camera was to make Instagram come alive as an actual camera that would be able to print out your photos instantly. The camera will have a 14 MP front camera, a 2MP rear camera next to an LED flash, a 4GB internal storage, 4.3" touchscreen, and stereo speakers. It seems like a fun little camera, but we'll have to wait and see exactly how fun as more details come in about the camera's features. Hopefully it'll be able to print not only Instagram photos, but photos in general. Who knows? Maybe it could add a feature where you can apply filters to the photos. Check out the rest of the photos below.

Italian iWatch prototype is looking sexy
For awhile now, rumors have spread around about Apple's interest in creating an "iWatch" device of sorts. Since the initial rumors spread, various design companies have created their own concept art and prototypes envisioning what a potential iWatch would look like. Italian designer Federico Ciccarese has shared his vision of the iWatch. The prototype is very modern and sleek, appearing to be very thin around the wrist. However, I'm not sure exactly how comfortable it would feel when worn, unless the curves on the "back" of the watch were padded. It all depends on the material used, of course.
As always, these images are just concept art from an artist's own vision; these aren't official images commissioned by Apple. In fact, Apple has been tight-lipped about their venture into the "wearable technology" trend, despite Samsung's announcement of a "Galaxy Gear" watch and Pebble's own watch device finding success on Kickstarter. However, it's been reported that fitness consultant Jay Blahnik, who helped Nike develop their FuelBand, has been hired by Apple.
You can check out the rest of Ciccarese's concepts below.

Latest gameplay trailer for FIFA 14
A new gameplay trailer for FIFA 14 was released recently. Narrated by Captain Picard himself, Patrick Stewart, the new trailer showcases some of the next-gen graphics and a new engine for the popular EA Sports football (soccer) game. We all know that the sport itself isn't exactly popular here in the States, but it's the game all across the world, especially in Europe. Microsoft understands this, and have recently announced that every European Xbox One pre-order will come with a free copy of FIFA 14. Also announced during Microsoft's brief Gamescom conference is an Xbox-exclusive FIFA 14 mode, "Ultimate Team Legends," which will allow gamers to create their own custom teams consisting of some of the sport's top players of all time.
FIFA 14 will be released on September 24th in North America with a September 26th release in other regions for those of you who like their sports hands-free.
