[Video] Neko Case Performs on Conan
Neko Case graduated to a new level of notoriety last year on the strength of her mouthful of an album, The Worse Things Get, The Harder I Fight, The Harder I Fight, The More I Love You. The project found itself surrounded by the likes of Kanye West and Arcade Fire atop many of 2013's picks for top albums of the year and that has vaulted her onto the national stage. One of those stages is Conan's late night spot on TBS, which Case stopped by to perform her song, "Ragtime" with Calexico. It's a refreshing performance to start your day off properly, watch the full set below.

2014 Golden Globes Reactions
The conclusion of the year brings with it the beginning of the awards season in which many films are recognized for their endeavors. The 71st Golden Globes, held on Sunday, January 12, 2014 and hosted once again by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, revealed the victors for each of their many categories covering both film and television. However, focusing on the film aspect of this huge awards ceremony, 2013 definitely has produced a vast array of movies that all could be worthy of an award. Not all get the opportunity to bring home a much deserved trophy, though. Those who win seemed to be what the Hollywood Foreign Press Association viewed as the most notable for receiving an honor, and for the most part I failed to disagree with most of their decisions. In this article, you will find my reaction to most of the highly anticipated category recipients, and hopefully it will help justify the victories of each.
Leonardo DiCaprio, Jonah Hill developing TV series with Q-Tip
The chemistry between Jonah Hill and Leonardo DiCaprio in last year's The Wolf of Wall Street was palpable, as praised heavily in my review of the film. Apparently, that chemistry extended itself to at least a partnership beyond the camera as Deadline is reporting the two co-stars are developing a TV series with The Abstract himself, Q-Tip. The proposed series will be inspired by the iconic rapper's life during the '80s and '90s during the Native Tongues era with a focus on friendship and how the Afrocentric, conscious style of hip hop influenced the genre and culture from then to even modern times.
Q-Tip has been extremely busy as of late, dropping the long-awaited collaborative project The Dragon and The Abstract with Busta Rhymes, as well as playing the (supposedly) final A Tribe Called Quest shows ever as part of Kanye West's Yeezus Tour. A TV show influenced by the Native Tongues era is an amazing idea that can introduce the "Golden Era" of hip hop to current fans who may not be aware of it.
As of right now, no cast or crew has been announced for the series, but the three will be pitching the series to all of the networks soon.

The centerpiece of a lot of people's living rooms is the TV. When it comes to TVs, most like to get the biggest size they can afford because watching movies or the big game is always better when it's on a big screen. LG is here to change how you watch TV as they are set to unveil the LG 105" Curved Ultra HD TV at the International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. Yes, that's right: a 105" TV, which will be the biggest of its kind, boasting 11 million pixels with a 21:9 aspect ratio. It's a pretty impressive TV, but there is no word as of yet as to what it will cost, but I'm sure we'll learn soon enough. Scottish electro-pop trio Chvrches have been popping up on plenty of year-end "Best of" lists for their breakthrough release, 2013's The Bones of What You Believe. Last night they brought the show to David Letterman himself, performing "We Sink" off of Bones. The quick set was the band's last stateside, after wrapping up a two-month North American tour. Headed across the pond, they play "XFM's Winter Wonderland" in London on Thursday before heading down under for a January tour across Singapore, Australia and Japan. [Video] Chance The Rapper on 106th & Park
Chance The Rapper just keeps getting bigger. The hometown kid from Chicago, in New York for a two-day, three-set marathon at SOB's beginning today, stopped by BET's 106th & Park to chop it up with Bow Wow on national television. He starts things off by asking the host if it was cool to call him Bow and goes on to touch on some pretty interesting points involving being an independent artist today, the state of the music industry and the origins of music in Chicago. It's crazy to see him standing on the set next to Bow Wow and a testament to a year's worth of hard work. Check out the video below:
[Video] Guillermo del Toro's couch gag for The Simpsons' Treehouse of Horror XXIV
The annual The Simpsons "Treehouse of Horror" installments allow Simpsons writers to flex their post-modern wit, throwing the beloved characters into horror film pastiches rife with many allusions and references to horror staples. What, then, would be a better way for The Simpsons to celebrate Halloween this year than by receiving help from one of Hollywood's great horror visionaries, Guillermo del Toro?
In this year's "Treehouse of Horror XXIV," del Toro is full of horror allusions, including The Shining, The Birds, Hellboy, Pan's Labyrinth, Blade, H.P. Lovecraft, Stephen King, and more. The Simpsons may have fallen off in recent years, but del Toro's couch gag is a smart and entertaining reminder of how witty The Simpsons used to be, as well as a means for del Toro to flex his vast horror knowledge
