ScHoolboy Q ft. Ab-Soul: "Druggy's WitH Hoes Again"
Audio cocaine, that is what this song is. Whoever sat down and made this beat deserves props for years to come. ScHoolboy Q is up and down for me. Same goes for the rest of Black Hippy (Kendrick Lamar, Ab-Soul, Jay Rock & ScHoolboy Q if you didn't know). When they are on their songs are amazing but then sometimes they put out music that I just sit down and ask myself why was this ever made. This song is perfection though. In the days where we get to listen to Lex Luger x10000 beats and Maybach Music is being shoved down my throat I would very much prefer listening to this ignorance then that. "Bust on hoes I don't need a clip."
Deon: "Peach"
This one really caught me by surprise. Deon is an artist hailing out of Largo, Maryland who draws his inspiration from Blu, Kendrick Lamar & J. Cole. Normally when I read someones inspirations sometimes there is a little taste of those artists throughout their music but when it comes to Deon you can fully tell that these artists have influenced him. It is a bit scary how much he does sound like J. Cole. Beyond that "Peach" is just an overall good song with an incredible sample that really showcases some young talent. This 16 year old is gearing up for his upcoming mixtape Los(t) Angel(es) with "Peach" being one of the first leaks from it. Enjoy Deon and "Peach" right below.
J. Good: "Wool Sweater" (Prod. Jonathan Lowell)
As if Chuuwee wasn't enough right now, his fellow TUS members J. Good & producer Jonathan Lowell link up for what is going to end up on Lowell's upcoming project Sheepscapes: The Vincent Brooks Story. In the past J. Good has made magic and "Wool Sweater" is no different. While it is a bit on the short end, J. Good is still able to commit murder in under a minute. Jonathan Lowell has also turned up his game to the next echelon as his producing has been shooting through the roof of late. While when it comes to beat tapes, a lot fall sour onto my ears, I seem to always find pleasure in those who reside on the West Side and from the sound of "Wool Sweater" Sheepscapes is bound to be no different. Grab the track right below.

Charles Hamilton Is Back
Yes you read that right. #CharlesHamiltonIsBack and I will be the first to say that I am bittersweet on the subject. Don't get me wrong, I am beyond being a huge Charles Hamilton fan. I am one of those Mauriceans who followed, or did my best to follow his every step. While that was beyond hard to say the least, Charles has had his share of a very eventful career so far. He has had his missteps which we all known by now but through all of that he somehow was able to put out some gold every now and then between some of the music that clearly spoke to the severe problems he was going through. His music spoke to me in the same sense of what he put it out there for though and I feel that is exactly where he got the majority of his followers. At this point people are probably looking at his return with a stink eye and cracking jokes just waiting for him to fall off once again but I will firmly stand on the other side and always give my support that he is one of the brightest stars in this day and age. When he is on his game there is no stopping Charles Hamilton and if he can keep himself in a bubble for the time being he can steadily climb his way back to a spot in the limelight. I've added a little sample right below where Charles jumps on some 9th Wonder production and shares a lot of the views which most of us easily can agree with in some sense about the game today which is kind of freaky. I would love to take part if helping manage this dude to be honest because I want to see him where he belongs. Grab "Cats Said I Can Diss You" below as well as two mixtapes that he released as his welcome back celebration right below.
Roc Marciano: "My Persona"
I really don't have to say much in this post. But for those who actually read my words I will liberate you. Roc Marciano is the rapper that was put on this earth to stay gritty. You won't see him collaborating with Bruno Mars but instead verbally assaulting the mental welfare of his fans. "My Persona" is probably one of the best rap songs I've heard in a while. In a recent time where we are getting used to struggling to enjoy music and simply swagging to a song because its beat is making illegitimate children at the club, Roc Marciano is the exact opposite. He sits in that group that is what people give as examples when they talk about what is not ridiculous in rap culture. Sit down, pour yourself some fine wine, roll up and be a man for once with this one. But really, just go right below, you won't regret it.

[Video] DLRN ft. Illecism & Prometheus Brown: "Reset"
I have been waiting for this video for a long time coming. I remember the first time I stumbled across DLRN was because of this song and my strong liking for the musical styling of Illecism. I then saw some of the stills for the video and getting to see the old Western influence got me hyped from what the combination of the song and style would end up being like and well it far exceeded my expectations. It did help that there were two smokeshows to look at while jamming to the song. It just seems like Sacramento is quickly becoming a faucet of great rap music and I am not complaining. Get hip to DLRN and watch the video right below.

Johnny St. Cloud: "The Names Johnny"
The 2008ighties crew is on a roll. Johnny St. Cloud is the latest from the Chicago collective to grace the front page of RH with Calez's First Look, Julian Malone coming at us with his spin on Kid Cudi's "Glory," and Fonz-E Mak styling over some MF DOOM. It was only right that Johnny St. Cloud would take his turn and decide to tackle the newly released "Trouble On My Mind" from Pusha T & Tyler The Creator. It is only fitting that our introduction to Johnny St. Cloud is on a track titled "The Names Johnny" and while when I first saw that he was rapping over "Trouble On My Mind" I was skeptical to say the least but he did his thing. Check it out for yourself right below.
[Video] †ahj Di?mond: "Up There"
As quickly as the song has skyrocketed to over 800 views in a matter of days for the up and comer †ahj Di?mond, he comes at us with the concept video for the song. It is shot by @amandaeckle and pretty accurately tells the story that †ahj Di?mond was aiming for when he wrote the song. After "Up There" and "$unny Days" I already know that Jesus Give Me Peace will probably be the best project I will hear from an up and coming artist this year. Check out the concept video for "Up There" right below and if you haven't heard of †ahj Di?mond yet you can grab "$unny Days" and "Up There."
