The Weekly Swarm: 11/24 - 11/30

How was everybody's holiday weekend? Mine was adventurous, to say the least... definitely not a period of time I want to revisit anytime soon. Today marks the first of December, and the last month of 2014. It's been a great ride this year, hasn't it? I think the best is yet to come, but I am a bit biased. For now, let's re-live last week's content below.

Happy early Thanksgiving, friends and family. Given the holiday week, we might be a bit more sporadic than usual with our updates over the next few days. However, we'll hit the ground running come December to make up for it! For now, revisit last week's content below, which included Virgil's personal photos from this year's Fun Fun Fun Fest, an op/ed on the media's role in Charles Manson's upcoming marriage, a look at a vigilante photographer documenting Chicago crime scenes on social media, trailers for some upcoming films and documentaries, and more below!

As I write this, Chicago is perhaps experiencing its final warm day of the year. Going forward, it'll be nothing but parkas, beanies, and thermal underwear for the rest of forever. Luckily, we have a few things in the works to keep all of you warm. If you missed out any content from last week, check them out below, including Virgil's photos of Gary Clark, Jr.'s set in Austin, Alexandra's love letter to Chicago, the concept art for the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art, Toy Story 4's confirmation, and a moving photo series between a cosplay-loving mother/daughter duo.

The Weekly Swarm: 10/13 - 10/19

Last week was a fun one here at Ruby Hornet. I was able to share my coverage from New York Comic Con, including some amazing video roundtable interviews with the cast of Bob's Burgers. We also shared our photos from this year's Austin City Limits in Austin (obviously). There's also the normal stuff we post, like the trailer for the new Mike Tyson Mysteries show on adult swim, Robert Downey, Jr. officially joining the cast of Captain America 3, Sarah Rosado's cereal portraits of musicians, and much more. Check everything out below!

We had a short week last week, but it's all for a bigger prize. I was at New York Comic Con last week (expect a ton of photos and videos from that) while Virgil was covering Austin City Lights. Again, expect all of our coverage from that, plus this month's Chicago International Film Festival, throughout the next couple of weeks! For now, revisit last week's content, including my behind-the-scenes photos from the Bob's Burgers press date, a few new film trailers, and more!
