Get Yourself A Floor Mopping Robot
Cleaning is something that just has to be done, whether you like it or not, and with technology you'd think we'd have robots doing the dirty work by now. We might be waiting a long time until that happens, but until then we can rely on iRobot for all our robot needs.
iRobot has recently released the Braava Floor Mopping Robot so you won't ever have to mop the floor ever again. It is priced at $300, and it will dry sweep for up to three hours or wet mop for up to two hours on a single charge. With the technology packed inside, you won't have to worry about it crashing into anything, and it can clean those hard to reach spots with its perfect edge technology.

The Weekly Swarm: 10/29 - 11/3
How was everybody's Halloween? I hope everybody enjoyed getting tricked and/or treated. I spent my Halloween watching Derrick Rose's regular season home return, and it was one of 2013's highlights... not because of the Bulls' questionable playing or D. Rose's late game-winner, but because Benny the Bull dressed up as a Ghostbuster. It doesn't get much better than that.
On the Ruby Hornet side of things, we had the final trailer for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, a scintillating new clip from Lars von Trier's Nymphomaniac, Bobby's Top 10 Horror Films for Halloween, Alex's picks to portray Wonder Woman, MellowHigh's self-titled album, Highlife's new mixtape, both Chance the Rapper and Vic Mensa's appearances on RapFix Live, Brynn's interview with Ezra Furman, my photos from Melt-Banana's show in Chicago, Jake's interview with MiniBoone, Samsung and NBA's $100m deal, the iPad Air stripped butt naked, and so much more.
Check out last week's content on Ruby Hornet below, neatly and nicely organized by category.

[Video] The iPad Air is stripped naked for your viewing pleasure
As was announced last week, the new iPad Air has been released to stores today. The newer, lighter cousin to the iPad family boasts a 20% thinner, 28% lighter body, perhaps in preparation for the Thanksgiving gluttony that'll take place in a few short weeks. While the tablet will probably sell like hotcakes, some of us are a bit more curious and skeptical about exactly what the new iPad has to offer.
Then there are those of us whose curiosity exceeds this, much more interested in seeing the inner workings of Apple's new plaything. The team over at iFixIt have put together a teardown of the iPad Air to examine its naked body and a review of how repairable the product is when opened. If you're a robot or into seeing naked tech, check the video out below.

Upgrade Your Phone With New Parts?
Let's face it: as soon as you get a new smartphone and open up the package, it's already old and outdated. After a year or two, you can't wait to get the latest "it" product to hit the market because your trusty smartphone is not what it used to be. Either you deal with the lag issues bogging the phone down, or the battery doesn't hold a charge like when it was brand new. Sometimes, you just like your phone and would only like to replace parts that are broken or old instead of shelling out money for an entirely new one.
Well if that's the case then, the Motorola Project Ara might be of interest to you. Still in the development stages, it promises users will be able to swap out parts as needed. You would be able upgrade the battery, screen, and processor by simply putting the modular components onto an endoskeleton base. It's an interesting concept, but will have to wait and see.

Nook GlowLight: Another Option For Readers
To me, the best way to read is the old-fashioned way, and that's with a book. Nonetheless, there are a ton of options for a person to read their favorite novel, whether you choose to use your phone or a tablet. Barnes & Nobles has just released the new Nook GlowLight as another option for people to read without all the extra features some of its other competitors have.
They changed some things for a better reading experience with a screen with 60% more pixels without the glare and a higher 1024 x 768 resolution. They also cut the size down so it won't feel like you're lugging your library around, and it has 4GB of storage that will hold 2,000 books ,as well as a battery that will last eight weeks on a single charge.

Sony releases the ultimate PlayStation 4 FAQ
With the PlayStation 4 a little more than two weeks away from release, Sony has released a huge FAQ detailing everything new PS4 owners can expect when they get their hands on the console on November 15th. The page includes information for everything from prices and peripheral compatibility to hardware differences compared to the PS3. Also of note are some of the "minor" changes that might not be so minor after all.
Those not acute to video game news might be surprised of some of the changes for the PlayStation 4. For instance, PlayStation 3 games will not be backwards compatible with the PlayStation 4; unfortunately, this also includes downloadable games bought in the PlayStation Store. Online play will also only be available to PS+ subscribers, although considering how many free games and discounts PS+ offers, most gamers should already be subscribed to the program.
You can read the full list of PS4 changes on the PlayStation Blog. Are any of these a deal breaker for those thinking about picking a PS4 up at launch? Personally, I'm bummed out about not being able to play the games I bought from the PlayStation Store, but it's nowhere close to a deal breaker for me. I am a bit letdown that I can't change my PlayStation Network ID, though...

[Video] The Walking Dead Season Two gameplay teaser
Riding high off of the show's popularity, as well as their own popularity with the resurgence of adventure games with their previous releases of Sam and Max and Back to the Future, Telltale Games' The Walking Dead not only stayed true to the comic book, it further popularized both the adventure game genre and proved that episodic video games can, in fact, be successful. How successful, you ask? Telltale revealed yesterday that The Walking Dead sold over 21m individual episodes across both the five episodes that made up Season One and the transition episode, 400 Days.
Not a company to simply rest on their laurels, Telltale also released the first gameplay teaser of The Walking Dead: Season Two. Not much is revealed, but the nature of the series relies on the mystery and surprise that each episode offers. However, what has been confirmed is that Clementine, Season One's main minor character, will in fact be playable this season. Considering everything the young girl faced, it'll be interesting to see if she'll be compelling enough to play as in comparison to Season One's protagonist, Lee.
The Walking Dead: Season Two's first episode will be released later this year. Season passes will run for $22.50, while individual episodes will probably run for the standard $4.99.

Tiger Woods and Electronic Arts break up
Tiger Woods' namesake on EA Sports' PGA Tour franchise won't be returning for future installments. Electronic Arts and Woods both agreed to the "mutual decision" to not have Woods' contract renewed for use on the PGA Tour video game series. Considering the popularity of the PGA Tour series ($771m lifetime sales), both EA Sports and Woods are expected to face some financial loss.
However, the game franchise will still prosper with notable professional golfers like Rory McIlroy and Arnold Palmer still appearing in future sequels. Woods' agent, Mark Steinberg, has confirmed that negotiations with another video game studio are taking place, but considering EA Sports' dominance in the sports sphere, any other non-EA Sports Tiger Woods game would face a lot of competition.
